InfoServe365 in China (Again !)

Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, P.R. China – Voith Paper Fabrics China Co. Ltd has awarded InfoServe365 the contract to install their remote production and process data collection system on the latest manufacturing machine at their brand new Kunshan plant in China.

InfoServe365’s system will give the local management team valuable production and process intelligence and ensure the highest possible level of support from the machine design team who are based in the UK. The data will afford the engineering team a comprehensive diagnostic view over key operational parameters for both process and engineering services.

The system will also provide full operational clarity to business professionals at Voith’s headquarters in Heidenheim, Germany by allowing access to the live and historic data store and the customised productivity reports.

InfoServe365 in China

Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, P.R. China – Process Line (China) Ltd., have ordered a remote data collection system from InfoServe365 Ltd. The system will be fitted to Process Line’s latest machine currently under construction in Wenzhou, China. The system will give the both the machine’s operators and Process Line’s UK support engineers full access to the lithographic coating line’s process data meaning their specialist skills can be employed effectively and efficiently from their UK headquarters in Leeds.

Alan Arthur, Process Line’s managing director commented, “Where we have complex coating machinery such as this, the facility to be able to access and analyse the process data from anywhere in the world means that we can provide much more immediate and informed assistance to our clients should they experience production issues. Using the InfoServe365 system our process support team aim to help achieve higher levels of OEE (overall equipment efficiency) from the coating line returning a much faster return on investment for our client”.

The InfoServe365 system has the capability to also report productivity performance, energy usage and to warn of degrading plant conditions pre-empting catastrophic component failure.

Installed on a new General Vacuum K5000 metalliser (manufactured by Bobst Group, Heywood, UK), Alupa’s production, operations and business managers have comprehensive access to a suite of automatically generated reports, indicating productivity and OEE levels achieved plus downtime analysis over the reporting periods. Live dashboards, automated journals and line graph modules allow Alupa’s professional management team to perform detailed analysis of the production and process parameters from any web connected PC.

This intelligence will help keep the machine operating at maximum potential throughout its production lifetime so generating maximum returns on investment for Alupa.

Forecasting Bright Times Ahead ...

Optima Control Solutions, developers of InfoServe365, recently installed a meterological office-grade weather station into a Lancashire technology college.

Weather data collection and presentation is handled by InfoServe365 in exactly the same way as it would be for a commercial installation of the product. Data is continually gathered from the weather station and is immediately transferred to a secure data center where it is indefinitely stored.

Our system has proved a highly effective tool for the college and staff and pupils are able to log into the InfoServe365 web application to access the data from any Internet connected computer. The web application is an intuitive and powerful suite of data mining tools. Up to the minute and historical information can be accessed, trends can be plotted and periodic reports can be instantly generated.
